Previously I talked about Connecting your Twitter and Facebook Accounts, Connecting your Blog with your Twitter Account and Connecting your YouTube Account with your Twitter Account. Connecting your accounts makes it easier to post your updates in multiple places with minimal effort. When you upload a new video, it can be automatically posted to Twitter and Facebook. You can also connect your Twitter account with your LinkedIn account so that same video will go out to your network on LinkedIn as well.
To connect your Twitter account with your LinkedIn profile, log in to your Twitter account. Open another window and log in to LinkedIn. Click to Edit Profile. Click to “+ Add a Twitter Account.”
You can manage your settings by selecting or deselecting to display your Twitter account on your LinkedIn profile, share only tweets that contain #in and to show “rich link display.”
Click to add your Twitter account. If you are already logged in to Twitter, LinkedIn will access your Twitter account and Twitter will ask you for permission for LinkedIn to access your Twitter account. Click “Allow” and your accounts are connected. View your LinkedIn profile and your most recent tweet will be under your profile picture at the top:
