About Mark Morgenfruh:

Mark Morgenfruh is an HR practitioner with more than 30 years of experience across mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, compensation and benefits, cultural transformation, organizational development, performance metrics alignment, and HR technology. He is a trusted Senior Advisor to multiple organizations, offering expertise in human capital due diligence, post-close integrations, total rewards design, and HR strategy, delivery, and technology.

Since 2017, he has successfully operated his own consulting practice, GetHRready, building on a foundation of leadership experience from executive roles in prominent global and domestic organizations.

Recently publishing his first business book, Never Fire Anyone, Mark has started to distill more than three decades of observations and experience into his first of what he hopes will be many creative works. It is a brilliant new model and way to think about how we should stop leading “companies” and start to lead the people that are the cause of success.

It’s Meet the Author Monday! Each week we meet a new author and get to know a little about them, their writing process, publishing experience, and tips for other writers. Today we’re talking to Francesca Capaldi, author of Stormy Skies at the Beach Hotel.

About Francesca Capaldi:

Francesca Capaldi has enjoyed writing since she was a child. She is the author of historical saga novels, short stories and pocket novels. She is a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association and the Society of Women Writers and Journalists.

A New Start at the Beach Hotel won the Romantic Saga Award at the Romantic Novelists’ Association Awards in 2024. Heartbreak in the Valleys, was shortlisted for theHistorical Romantic Award in the RoNAs in 2021. Both the Valleys series and the Beach Hotel series are published by Hera/Canelo.

Francesca was born and brought up on the Sussex coast by a Welsh mother and Italian father. She later went to London to do a history degree and post grad teaching certificate.

Currently she lives in Kent with her family and a cat called Lando Calrission.
