About a month ago I was in Lisbon, Portugal for the Running Remote conference. One of my favorite authors, David Allen, author of Getting Things Done, was one of the keynote speakers for the event.
One of the nights during the conference, I got an unexpected treat!
I was enjoying one last glass of wine at my hotel bar after the Running Remote closing party when I spotted a familiar face at the bar. Lo and behold, it was David Allen!
I had to go over and say hello! David was gracious enough to chat with me for a few minutes and let me take a photo.
I love when you meet a well-known, accomplished person and realize they are down-to-earth and friendly. I am a huge fan of GTD and so grateful for this brief encounter.
