VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
Welcome to another video book review! This week we were looking at The 10 Stories Great Leaders Tell by Paul Smith.
I read this on my Kindle. I bought a new Kindle Paperwhite a few weeks ago, and I didn’t know if I would like it, but I love it. It really helps me read more because I just have it with me all the time.
So this book it’s more like a whitepaper. I think the paperback format is like 135 pages. So it’s really short. You can read it in about an hour, hour and a half, maybe. So, super short and to the point.
I read it in preparation for, I was helping the team prepare some speeches for our retreat that we had a couple of months ago. And it was really helpful in kind of defining some of those messages that leaders should just be prepared to speak on. So I actually used it… I read it a couple months ago and then I just used it today as I was kind of brainstorming some ideas for podcast episodes, just some content for the team, things that we can be… that our leaders can be speaking about and our team can be writing about.
So if you’re in company leadership or in marketing I think it’s a great book to read and a great resource to have. I think it really helps generate some ideas and give you some really solid things to work on and develop as a team.
