I’m still doing really well with my reading goal for this year even though this recap doesn’t look quite as good as last month! I did go on vacation for one week in March and, although I brought THREE books with me, I didn’t read at all that week.
My Goodreads Reading Challenge goal for this year is 24 books (which is an average of 2 per month). So far, I completed 3 books in January, 5 in February, and 4 in March (I’ll explain at the end of this post why I only show 3 of those below).
My new plan for how to approach my reading habits is working well for me. Some other things that seem to be helping motivate me are my reading club (an international group I meet with virtually every month) and sharing what I’m reading on social media (links above).
I’ve mentioned this before, but as a reminder, I typically read simultaneously:
- one non-fiction book (10 pages per day),
- one hardcopy fiction book (one chapter before bed), and
- one fiction audiobook (whenever I have quiet time where can fit it in—while driving, cleaning, walking, whatever…)
Here’s a recap of the books I completed in March with links to the full reviews in case you missed them:
As for book number four…it hasn’t published yet, so I’ll be posting my review for it next week after the launch date.
Here’s what I’m currently reading (reviews coming soon!):
So…what about you? What’s your reading goal for this year? And what books have you read so far?
