I recently discovered “BookTok” (a community for book lovers on TikTok) and I am in LOVE!
If you think TikTok is just for young kids and/or people who want to dance on social media, think again.
There are currently 1 BILLION active users on TikTok and there are communities forming on the platform for every niche you can possibly imagine. I’ve started to discover some authors who are using TikTok in super creative ways to promote their books, and I love what they are doing!

Here are a few of my favorites so far:
- Brooke (Kennedy Fox) – a romance author who writes under her own name (Brooke Cumberland) as well as a pen name (Kennedy Fox) she uses when she writes with a co-author
- Gabrielle Stone – author of Eat, Pray, #FML (NOT to be confused with Eat, Pray, Love) which is about her journey of divorcing her husband after finding out he was cheating on her for 6 months with a 19-year-old
- Jaysen Headley – an author of these 5 books on Amazon who posts videos about his reading obsession, Manga (whatever that is!), gaming and more
