LINKEDIN:

A social networking platform for professionals, developed in the living room of co-founder Reid Hoffman, officially launched in 2003.

 

YOUTUBE:

Founded in 2005 by 3 employees of PayPal, sparked by an idea after experiencing difficulty sharing a video that had been shot at a party.
